Safe Haven Legacy Advisory
The most important layer
of your family's plan
is not in the documents.
It's in the dynamics. The conversations no one's having. The fear no one's naming. That's the layer we work with together.
“Safe Haven Legacy Advisory supports individuals, couples, and families through the human side of wealth — the relational, emotional, and dynamic layer that traditional estate planning often overlooks.”
About
I know what it's like inside a wealth transition — because I lived one.
I'm Meredith Leigh Lowe — a second-generation millionaire and somatic coach working with wealthy families to prevent relationship fallout. My container is a preventative and safe place for families to purposefully knit a legacy plan based on their unique common family goals.
My father co-founded a company, and in 1996 it went public. I grew up inside a wealth transition without a container like the one I now offer — and I know firsthand the isolation, silence, and unspoken fear that can come with "having everything" while still struggling.

That lived experience is the foundation of this work. I'm also certified in somatic coaching through Training Camp for the Soul under Anat Peri — which means I work with what's happening in the body, not just what's being said. I can be present with what's underneath a family's fear, not only talk around it.
How I Work
Neutral
No sides. No lobbying. No triangulation. I hold space for the whole system.
Confidential
Private sessions stay private. Only synthesized themes are shared.
Consent-Based
Advisor coordination happens only with your explicit, ongoing, revocable consent.
Structured
Clear frameworks for decisions, meetings, and follow-through — not open-ended talk.
Body-Directed
Wealth and family dynamics create real physiological and emotional reactions. The logical mind can lie and rationalize. Somatic coaching uncovers what the body is honestly holding — beneath the story you've been telling yourself.
Intellectual Foundations
Why the body matters in wealth transitions.
Unresolved tension, unspoken fear, and avoided conversations don't just strain relationships — they can live in the body. Chronic stress may affect health, decision-making, and the ability to show up clearly for the people who matter most.
What goes unaddressed often doesn't stay in one generation. Generational trauma and limiting beliefs around money, power, and belonging can get passed down — sometimes without anyone realizing it. This work addresses what's underneath the conflict so families can move forward with less weight, more clarity, and a healthier foundation for the generations that follow.
Who This Is For
Wealth solved the financial question. Who’s solving the human one?
This work is for people whose estate planning is legally and financially “done” — but who sense the family dynamics underneath are not.
Individuals Carrying It Alone
Do you feel isolated inside your family's wealth? Have you been performing "fine" for everyone else because you feel like you can't be honest? Are you tired of hearing how lucky you are when something underneath feels suffocating, but voicing that feels shameful or guilty?
Couples in Transition
Is a marriage, liquidity event, retirement, or shifting role changing the dynamic between you? Has money become the thing you talk around instead of through? Are you realizing the relationship needs support too — not just new documents?
Families Facing Succession
Is the paperwork in place but the relational conversations aren't happening? Are you afraid that bringing up roles, expectations, or unresolved tension could fracture the family? Do you wish someone could help your family talk about what actually matters now instead of when conflict or crisis hits?
Professional Advisors
Are you watching the emotional or mental side of wealth affect your client's family? Do you see family dynamics undermining the plans you've helped them build? Are you looking for a partner who can address what's outside your scope — so your clients can proactively plan ahead instead of reacting to a situation?
What this is not
Meredith Leigh Lowe's credential is somatic coaching, not a family-therapy license. Her authority comes from somatic training plus lived experience.
How It Works
A clear process protects relationships.
Consent first. Then clarity. Then action.
Name What’s Actually Happening Out Loud
Not the version on paper or in the estate documents — the realities between people. Together, we look at the fear, avoidance, unclear roles, silent rules, and eroded trust that may be keeping your family divided.
Work With Direction from the Body, Not Just the Logical Mind
Wealth and family dynamics create real physiological and emotional reactions. The logical mind can lie and rationalize. Somatic coaching uncovers what the body is honestly holding — beneath the story you’ve been telling yourself.
Map the Dynamics
Private conversations with each stakeholder provide safety and the certainty that every voice is being heard. Personality patterns surface, themes emerge, and a clearer picture of the family system as a whole is formed.
Build Agreements That Hold
We co-create a Family Playbook: values-in-action, roles, decision rights, communication agreements, and a conflict/repair plan. Together, we install a Meeting Framework your family can run on its own.
Coordinate With Your Advisors
With your explicit, ongoing, revocable consent — I work alongside your attorneys, CPAs, and wealth managers to help address the human side that may be stalling implementation or forward motion.
The Offer Suite
From carrying the fear alone, to moving forward together.
Three offers form a single arc — each one building toward the next.
The Permission Call
90 minutes · Live on Zoom
For the individual who feels alone and isolated inside their family's wealth, afraid their family could fall apart, and who has gotten very good at being "fine."
A space to say the real, unpolished fear out loud — not the version you've rehearsed for everyone else — and have it received as information, not a crisis. You leave no longer carrying that fear alone.
"You've gotten very good at being fine and hearing how lucky you are. This is the hour you can be real and someone finally gets it."
The Family Clarity Session
Up to 2 hours · Single session
For an individual, or a couple, whose legal and financial paperwork is already in place but whose family dynamics aren't — ready to explore what a plan built specifically for their family could look like.
You leave with your family's dynamics named, pain points mapped, and a concrete sense of what a custom plan could contain — moving from "we know we need something" to "we can see what she would build with us."
"The most important layer of your family's plan was never in the documents. It's in the dynamics. That's the layer we map together, and that's where the real plan begins."
What's included:
Expansion — Destination Family Retreat
Coming SoonA multi-day, one-family-at-a-time experience — not one point person, but everyone in the room together over several days. For families that want to stay united on purpose rather than leave unity to chance.
A visible before-and-after in how the family relates to each other: less bracing, more warmth, conversations that used to be avoided beginning to happen more naturally. Custom-built to that family's specific fears and unknowns.
This offer requires group facilitation skills Meredith is actively building through the xChange Guide Certification Program. Not yet bookable — positioned as a future offering.
Writing & Ideas
The Human Side of Wealth
I publish on Substack — exploring the conversations the wealth industry often avoids, the dynamics that live underneath estate plans, and what it can take for families to stay connected through transitions.
The Conversation the Wealth Industry Isn’t Having
Drawing on Gabor Maté and Bessel van der Kolk — why the body keeps the score even in wealthy families, and what that means for estate planning.
Seven Questions, No Filter
The questions no one asks wealthy families — and what happens when someone finally does.
The Referral You’re Not Making
For professional advisors who see the human side stalling implementation — and don’t know where to send families for help.
Questions
What families ask most.
No. I’m not a therapist, and this isn’t a therapeutic relationship. My credential is somatic coaching (certified through Training Camp for the Soul under Anat Peri), not a family-therapy license. My work is practical and structured — focused on communication, decision-making, and building repeatable systems your family can use. If therapy is needed, I’ll recommend it.
Never. I work alongside your existing advisors (attorneys, CPAs, wealth managers) to address the human side — the communication and trust gaps that often prevent technical plans from being implemented. Coordination happens only with your explicit, ongoing, revocable consent.
I don’t take sides, carry messages between family members, or lobby for any outcome. Private sessions are private. I share only synthesized themes — never individual details — unless someone gives explicit consent.
It means we pay attention to what’s happening in the body — what gets activated and how it speaks. Wealth transitions create real stress that shows up physically: tension, shutdown, reactivity. I use practical, non-clinical regulation practices to help stakeholders stay grounded during difficult conversations. It’s embedded naturally, not imposed.
Conflict is normal in families with complexity. I help surface patterns, create agreements, and build a structured process for working through tension. However, I don’t work with families experiencing active abuse, coercion, or manipulation.
No. I work with families worldwide via Zoom. If you’re local to Central Florida, in-person sessions are available as well.
The Permission Call (90 min) is for one person — a space to say the real fear out loud and stop carrying it alone. The Family Clarity Session (up to 2 hours) is a deeper discovery process that maps your family’s dynamics and produces a written synthesis and custom engagement proposal.
